5th & 6th are using Zoom as part of their virtual learning.  Ms. O'Donovan uses it as remote classroom where the students and teacher can interact.

We got a lovely letter from a 1st class pupil telling us what he has been up to.

I went camping in my garden. I slept in my sleeping bag and pretended we were on holiday.

On Fridays we have stories with Nikki

1st-6th classes are using Seesaw as a virtual classroom.  Here the class teacher can upload activities which the pupils respond to and upload their own work.

It's fun to be at home but I miss school because I can't see all my friends.  I really like all my friends.  I miss my teachers.  I like seeing and talking to them everyday.  It's kinda fun to see Ms. McSweeney on screen but I would like to talk to her.  I love the fish.  I hope they are okay.  I like playing in my garden but it would be better to have my friends here or to run in the grass at school.

Today, 3 April, we had a whole school assembly with Rev. Wilkinson and Mrs O'Donovan.  Everybody connected on Zoom.

In the morning Mrs McSweeney goes online with the Oak Room (Infants) and reads them a story and goes through their work for the day.  She then posts the worksheets that need to be completed.

I built this sea creature house with a shoebox. Look at my bunk beds and my mirror. My sea cucumber loves his bed!
